Penang

JET-SKI AND PARA-SAILING

IN THE AIR NOW WHEEEEEEE!

Amazing view from the top <3

Ah, holidays will never be long enough. Spent 4D3N @ Penang in my Dec and I'm already missing the ambience of the place! Food is crazily cheap there (comparing to the prices over here...) and sooo good! D's dad had a old friend staying there, so he and his wife were really good hosts! They drove and brought us to various tourist hotspots and night markets! :>

The first night I accompanied D to the nearest coffee shop to catch his live soccer match, surprisingly, I could quite enjoy watching soccer matches :O
But what stole the night was their AMAZING ROTI PRATA wtfbbqplz. Their plain roti prata comes slathered with GHEE AND SUGAR, nicely crisp and chewy insides. We ordered 2 plain, 1 egg, and 2 hot beverages and the total bill was only around 6 riggit?
Sigh, SG, Y U NO CUM CHEAP?!

The second night (Yes we made use of night time to pak tor lol), we headed to a nearby roadside food center for supper! :> YUM TUM! Had prawn noodles! IT WAS DELISH! IS IT ME OR FOOD JUST TASTE AWSOME WHEN YOURE ON HOLIDAY? LE SIGH. Their prawn mee comes with half boiled egg and mini shrimps. You can opt to add more ingredients that they have at their stall! AND THEIR SOUP IS SPICY. I guess that's how Penang does it, spicy prawn mee, but I slurped it up like a hungry beast cos it was too good ugh. D got some dim sum, his fav cockles and a surprise dessert! Like seriously, FRIED ICE CREAM IN SUCH A PLACE? Heart-shaped somemore leh, but it was REALLY GOOD! Like warm fried savoury puff with cold strawberry and yam ice-cream omgggggggg dying for one nao!
HAHAHA after that we walked around and came across a LOK-LOK pushcart stall. It's sometime like food on satay sticks and there's a boiling hot soup at the side of the cart where you can warm/cook it up and eat it on the spot. Pity we were full from our supper alr D:

The last :( 3rd night, was unforgettable! We were so hungry and dying of hunger lmao but the huge hawker center closest to us was closed! You see, we have moved on the 3rd day from the town area in Penang to the beachy area and settled @ Holiday Inn :D We saw Mac's logo from a distance and decided to settle our empty stomachs there BUT KUAKUAKUAAA--- it's actually a brand new outlet and it's not opened yet :( Damn sadded but it's alright! Cos in the end we settled at this shisha place and had fries and mint tea! Guess what, their shisha is super cheap like $10 for one? WTFFFF!! We had grape+mint flavour! In SG, they even charge you extra for combining two flavours! -.-
The ladyboss was really nice, she came to talk to us and stuff. Her husband was from SG but came to stay here and open a stall here! Not bad I'd say. So we chillaxed till it was almost 3am and they had to close to stall hahahah, slow walk back with the toxin high in our heads!

Such a pity it has to end so soon! Looking forward to future trips with friends and loved ones as well! I really really really wanna go Bali or Phuket and bask in the clear waters and sun! Wait... bask in water? Am I saying it right???????? AHAHAHA, oh anyway the waters are murky at the beaches of Penang! No one goes in there to swim. :S
Yup my trip is devoid of photos because I am actually secretly paranoid that if I carry a camera I will look tourist-sy and therefore, an easy prey for pickpockets and ...kidnappers *shudder* ??? Well, not much of a secret now hahahah so stupid!

Well, I'll conquer my fear next time!
